This picture is starting a firestorm of argument and debate. Is Beyonce purposefully making herself light? Is the photoshopper man/lady racist? Is this shitty lighting?

Well no, it’s not bad lighting. This is from a photoshoot, so the lighting was probably exactly how they wanted it.
It’s Hollywood, and since society says white equals beauty, most black women are airbrushed to look lighter. IMO, the most disturbing thing about this is that Beyonce didn’t say anything. Why would she approve of this photo when she is visibly shades lighter?
