It doesn’t matter how famous you are or if you “want your privacy”, if you are a celebrity, you owe absolutely everything to your fans. If it weren’t for your fans, you would not be able to afford the brand name clothing you wear, the fancy car you drive, or the $15,000-a-night hotel room you stay in when you travel the world. I’ve stuck up for Justin Bieber a lot in the past. I used to feel that the hate he receives on a daily basis was completely hyperbolic and pointless, but I don’t think that anymore. After watching this video, I can see why people hate him. You are the most famous teen popstar in the world, so if you are not used to fans taking pictures of you by now, then you need to fly back to Canada and stay there. Yelling “fuck you” to fans trying to take a picture of you is beyond excusable. You were not in the privacy of your own home. You were in a public place, meaning you should’ve known that people were going to pay attention to you and that you were not entitled to privacy at the time. You are an immature, bratty piece of shit who only cares about his fans when it’s convenient to do so. Instead of yelling “fuck you” to your fans, a simple “hi” or a wave would have sufficed. But no, because you’re a self-entitled, immature, ungrateful brat, you felt it was necessary to yell out an obscenity in front of several children because a fan dared to take a picture of you.

Newflash buddy, you’d still be playing your guitar on a corner in Canada if it weren’t for those very fans who tried to take your picture that day.

I’m proud of Gaga for taking a risk, but let’s face it, as a commercial popstar, she cannot afford to take risk after risk after risk. I love that Gaga follows her heart and does what she wants to do, but she has to find a balance between edgy and commercial, otherwise she will be gone in five years. I love “Born This Way”, but the music is obviously not the kind of music the general public eats up.

I was actually kind of happy to see that ‘Marry The Night’ was pulled from the radio, because that means that Gaga and her label are aware of what’s going on and will (hopefully) make sure that her next era is flawless.

I love how it’s always “The girl stole the boy. She’s a whore.” FYI, it takes both the boy and the girl to be unfaithful, and if you want to get technical, it should be up to the person currently in a relationship to say “No, I can’t mess around with you because I have a girlfriend/boyfriend.”

who cares if the only reason some kids like fashion or a certain designer is because of lady gaga? you weren’t born with a passion for fashion. somewhere along the line, someone inspired you to learn more about fashion, so what’s the problem with lady gaga being the inspiration behind some kids’ love for the arts? did you ever think that maybe some of these kids actually enjoy what they say they enjoy? why are you automatically better than everyone because you knew about x designer before lady gaga existed? why is your passion considered “real” while those who are inspired by gaga’s considered “fake”? step down from your pedestal, please. fashion was never an indie thing. it’s been around since the dawn of time and people have liked it before you were even born, you cunt.
