You know, a lot of people are thinking she’s finally losing it. The gaining weight, shaving her head, smoking weed publicly, wearing extremely controversial clothing. Gaga is staging her own downfall knowing that the media will take every little thing out of proportion and blow it up into something massive, like they always do. The decay of superstar. Princess High to Princess Die. But, really all it is, is just one big controlled demolition.

I think you’re right about Gaga just wanting to have some fun, but the thing about Gaga having fun is that her definition of fun isn’t the same as most people’s definition. Most people’s definition of fun is dancing, going to a bar, and hanging with friends, while Gaga’s definition of fun is staging her own “demolition” while she and her creative team watch fans and media publications go crazy.
I didn’t get that until a friend put it into perspective for me. This is what Gaga, a performance artist, gets off on. She loves doing stuff like this on purpose just to sit back and watch how people react to it all. Let her go crazy now so that when ARTPOP drops and she gets back to tip-top shape, everyone will be like, “Wow, she totally got her shit together, this is awesome.”
