If Themanati and Thematticus were to have a baby, its name would be Themplicity. This theme is perfect for more picture-oriented blogs, but looks fine no matter what you post. Themplicity is 100% customizable, meaning every color you see on this theme can be altered to your liking. You can spend ten minutes tweaking the colors or ten hours if you so choose.

There are over 100 custom options on this theme (click the appearance tab to access them). Instead of explaining each and every option, I’ve decided to only explain the ones I feel are not self-explanatory.

Permalink post info background, text, link, and link hover color: This is the permalink post info section. Use these custom options to change its background, text, link, and link hover colors.
Tag and search query color: The reddish text you see here are the tag and search queries. Use this option to change its color.
Main page tag section background, link, and link hover color: If you’ve checked the “show tags on main page” option, use these color options to change the sections background, link, and link hover colors.
Post meta link and link hover color: The post meta is the bit of information right underneath each post. Use these options to change the post meta’s link and link hover colors.
Permalink credit background, text, link, and link hover color: Change the background, text, link, and link hover colors of these.
Personal post note background, text, link, link hover, and blockquote border color: The note that says “you reblogged this” is your personal post note. Use these options to change its background, text, link, link hover, and border colors.
Page link background, background hover, link, and link hover color: The page links are the links that say “next” and “previous”. Use these options to customize their background, background hover, link, and link hover colors.
Flickr photostream ID: If you have an active Flickr account and you want to display your latest uploads in the sidebar, place your photostream ID here. It should look something like this: 26907150@N08
Google Analytics ID: Google Analytics tracks your blog’s visitors. If you have an account, place your custom ID here to start tracking your traffic.

I had to take out the two and four column options because I had to make sure the theme worked for everyone. Some people were complaining that posts were being overlapped by the sides of their computers, so I made the theme’s columns auto-adjust according to your screen resolution. I also had to take out the header image option because of a similar reason.

Themenificent

Under the appearance tab, you will find the following options:

Streampad Background Color: If you’ve enabled the Streampad music player on your blog, you can change the background color of it here.
Header Image: Upload a custom header image here.
Background Image: Upload a custom background image here.
Orange, Lime, Fuchsia, Lavender, Seafoam, and Blue Versions: Choose between these and the default red version of the theme.
Four Column Version: Layout too big? Prefer a smaller-looking theme? Opt for a four column version of the theme rather than the default five column.
Repeat Header Image: If you upload a header image that doesn’t span across the entire top of allotted area, you can have the image repeat by choosing this option.
Scrolling Description: If your description is too long and is interfering with the aesthetics of the theme, select this option and it will be put into a scroll box.
Hide Captions On Front Page: If you rather your front page look more like an image gallery, choose to hide the captions on the front page.
Show Description: Rather not have anyone knowing anything about you? Hide your description here.
Show Title In Description: If you want to hide the title of your blog that appears before your description, untick this option.
Show Archive, Random, Mobile, and Feed Link: This one is pretty self-explanatory. :P
Enable Streampad: Enable the Streampad music player that will float gracefully along the bottom of your page at all times.
Autoplay Streampad Music: Wanna’ annoy all of your followers with music that automatically plays when they visit your page? Well, this option is for you!
Height Of Header Image: If you upload a header image and you want to resize the height of it, this is the option to do just that.
Custom Link 1, 2, 3, and 4 URL: Put the actual URL of any extra links here. Example: http://facebook.com.
Custom Link 1, 2, 3, and 4 Title: Put the name of the link here. Example: My Facebook Page.
Google Analytics ID: If you have a Google Analytics account, place your ID here so it can track your visitors.
Disqus Shortname: If you want to enable the commenting widget, place your Disqus shortname here.

Thematticus (click the photo to visit the install page) is a simple, one column Tumblr theme equipped with a sidebar that can display anything from your Twitter feed to your latest Flickr uploads.

Under the appearance tab on the customize page, you will find the following options:

Streampad Background Color: If you enable the streampad music player, this is where you can change it’s background color.
Content Header Image: Here, you can upload a header image for the main content section.
Sidebar Header Image: Here, you can upload a header image for the sidebar.
Lavender, Lime, Salmon, Sandstone, Seafoam, Teal, Violet, Fuchsia, and Steel Version: These are the different theme colors you can choose from. Tick your favorite color and you’ll be good to go.
Body Fader: Tick this if you want the “loading” body fader to show up when someone visits your blog.
Fixed Navigation: Having this option ticked will make your navigation stay in one place while your visitors scroll down your blog.
Fixed Sidebar: Having this option ticked will make your sidebar stay in one place while your visitors scroll down your blog.
Enable Social Networking Icons: Tick this option if you want to display the icons for your Twitter, Facebook, Last Fm, etc. profiles.
Show Icon: Tick this option if you want your icon to show next to your blog title.
Show People I Follow: Make sure this option is ticked if you want to display who you’re following in your sidebar.
Small Show People I Follow Box: If you follow a lot of people, tick this option so only a small portion of them will randomly show every time someone visits your blog.
Reveal Full People I Follow Box When Hovered: If you have the above option ticked and you still want people to be able to see everyone you follow, tick this option so people can hover over the small “people I follow box” to view everyone you follow (not recommended for people who follow a lot of people).
Show Archive, Random, Feed, and Mobile Link: Tick or untick these options if you want to display these links in your navigation.
Enable Streampad: Tick this option if you want the Streampad music player to display at the bottom of your blog.
Autoplay Streampad Music: Tick this if you’ve ticked the option above and you want the music player to automatically play when someone visits your blog (warning: autoplay music annoys a lot of people).
Hide Sidebar Youtube Video Controls: If you’ve entered a Youtube ID for a sidebar Youtube video and you want the video controls to be hidden, tick this option.
Autoplay Sidebar Youtube Video: If you’ve entered a Youtube ID for a sidebar Youtube video, tick this option if you want to to automatically play when someone visits your blog.
Custom Link One, Custom Link Two, Custom Link Three, and Custom Link Four URL and Title: If you need to display extra links in your navigation, here is where you will do that. Place the actual URL in the URL boxes and the text you want to display in your navigation in the title boxes.
Tweet Count: If you’ve signed into Twitter via Tumblr under the Services tab, here is where you can control the amount of tweets that are displayed in your sidebar.
Sidebar Youtube Video ID: If you want to display a Youtube video in your sidebar, place the ID of the video here. The video’s ID will look something like this “DSXKR8kPdRY” and can be located in the URL right after the “watch?v=”.
Google Analytics ID: If you have a Google Analytics account to track your blog’s traffic, place your ID here.
Last Fm Username: If you have a Last Fm account and you want to display your latest scrobbled plays from iTunes or Windows Media Player, place your username here. This will also display a Last Fm icon that will link to your Last Fm account if you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option.
AIM Screen Name: If you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option and you want an icon to display that links to your AIM screen name, enter your AIM screen name here.
Facebook URL:If you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option and you want an icon to display that links to your Facebook account, enter your full Facebook URL (http://facebook.com/xxxx) here.
Flickr ID Number: If you have a Flickr account and you want to display your latest uploads, place your Flickr ID number here (you can find your ID number by clicking on the “you” tab and looking in the address bar for a number that looks like this “55082080@N04”). This will also display a Flickr icon that will link to your Flickr account if you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option.
Youtube Username: If you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option and you want an icon to display that links to your Youtube account, enter your Youtube username here.
Email Address: If you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option and you want an icon to display that links to your email address, enter your email address here. Be careful, though, bots might track your address and send you spam your email account.
Skype Username: If you’ve ticked the “Enable Social Networking Icons” option and you want an icon to display that links to your Skype account, enter your Skype username here.
Number of Recent Last Fm Tracks To Display Not Including Currently Playing Track: If you entered your Last Fm username in the box above, here is where you can define the amount of recently played tracks that are displayed in your sidebar (note: it must be more than two).
Disqus Shortname: If you want to enable the Disqus commenting widget, enter your Disqus shortname here.
